In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and our first show, Here We Are + why being cancelled we decided that we wanted to bring the company back together for a project during the pandemic.

After being inspired by the BBC’s rendition of Alan Bennett’s ‘Talking Heads’, Archie applied to the Arts Council for a small Project Grant in order to facilitate the COVID-safe opportunity for these seven young people to write a monologue about something they cared about, perform it and have it professionaly filmed for a digital release on social media (free to watch).

The application was approved and OffPiste’s first Arts Council funded project was created.

It amassed over 12,000 views across the monologues, reaching over 3,500 unique people online.
