Our Team

  • Archie Rowell - Director

Archie is the Artistic Director of OffPiste, which he created in 2019 after his National Youth Theatre intake course during his second year of A-levels.

Since then, he has led the company through all of their multi-disciplinary work and four Arts Council funded projects.

OffPiste is Archie’s vehicle to showcase South West and rural talent, create diverse work and connect people across the region. Becoming an Associate Company to the National Youth Theatre has bought it all full circle.

  • Sydney Aldridge - Casting

Sydney has been working in casting since 2015. Starting her journey as a casting assistant at Beach Casting and later moving on to work with Rose Wicksteed, Anna McAuley, Kate & Lou and most recently, Sasha Robertson.

Sydney came on board OffPiste as our in-house Casting Director, after casting ENCORE during 2022. All of our projects that need casting go through her, and we’re really looking forward to exploring how this relationship opens up new avenues for our work.

  • Ben + Isobel - Co-Founders

Ben and Isobel are co-founders of OffPiste, bringing about its inception with Archie in 2019.

After being cast members of ‘Our Mate, Max’, you’ll now find them helping steer each project during production as cast, crew or sometimes as a shoulder to cry on when everything’s going terribly wrong.

    SAFEGUARDING:
Archie and Isobel are trained in safeguarding at a Level 3 qualification.
