the production

In October 2024, Archie and Elliot were awarded a seed commission by the Almeida Theatre to create a piece of performance film that surrounded the idea of ROOTS for their Home Stages Season. Archie wrote the 10 minute piece, UPROOTED, which tackles topics such as absent fathers, finding purpose, Dorset, and focusing on the good stuff in life.

Following the film screening at the theatre towards the end of 2024, Archie was awarded a residency at Mayflower Southampton to begin developing the concept into a live one man show.

As of March 2025, Archie has been awarded a Developing Your Creative Practice grant to work with mentors and develop the piece into a longer piece of live theatre.

2026 - UPROOTED was shortlisted for the Theatre Royal Plymouth x Pleasance Edinburgh National Partnerships award
